Uitnodiging Actionfields tentoonstelling en driedubbele opening Graag nodigen we jullie uit voor de opening van de nieuwe Actionfields tentoonstelling in TETEM kunstruimte, Enschede, NL. Onder de titel S.R.N.D.P.T. presenteert Actionfields vier internationale talenten in TETEM's vrije ruimte: Joachim Devillé (BE), Jürgen Grewe (DE), Timo van Grinsven (NL) en Jeroen de Nijs (NL). De kunstenaars presenteren hun nieuwste werken; sommige werken worden bij aankomst gemaakt. De tentoonstellingstitel is afgeleid van het woord ‘serendipity’: het Engelse woord voor serendipiteit, wat betekent het vinden van iets onverwachts en bruikbaars terwijl je op zoek bent naar iets totaal anders. Actionfields // platform voor actuele kunst is een initiatief van de Belgische curator Vincent Verbist. Op eigenzinnige wijze richt Actionfields zich op het ondersteunen en presenteren van jonge kunstenaars. Geen klassieke ‘white cube’ galerie met een winkel om op te passen, maar een dynamische platform die op wisselende locaties projecten en exposities realiseert. De tentoonstelling wordt feestelijk geopend op donderdag 20 februari van 17.00-19.00, tegelijk met de opening van Phantom Reality Reset en The Face of the Other. S.R.N.D.P.T. is te zien van 20 februari t/m 16 maart 2014, van maandag t/m zondag 11.00-17.00. De toegang is gratis. The exhibition title is derived from the word 'serendipity', which means finding something unexpected and useful, while looking for something totally different. Actionfields // platform for contemporary art is an initiative of the Belgian curator Vincent Verbist. In its distinctive way, Actionfields focuses on supporting and presenting young artists. Not a classic white cube gallery with a shop to watch, but a dynamic platform that realizes projects and exhibitions at various locations. The exhibition S.R.N.D.P.T. is on view from 20 February – 16 March 2014, from Monday - Sunday 11 am - 5 pm, the entrance is free.
